Andrea Jones
Athletic Trainer
​

Andrea (Andi) M. is a board certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATABOC) and is a licensed athletic trainer in Kentucky. She became the athletic trainer at Notre Dame in 2016 and before that served as the athletic trainer at Scott High School.

 

Andi is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University where she earned her bachelor of science in athletic training.

Michael Miller, MD
Team Physician

 

Michael J. Miller, M.D. is a sports medicine specialist and has been the Medical Director of St. Elizabeth Sports Medicine since its inception in 1989. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH in 1980. He is also a 1984 graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned his M.D degree.

He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 1988.  He is very active in teaching and also serves as team physician for Ryle High School and Thomas More College.

Dr. Miller is currently an active member of the Kentucky Medical Association committee on physical education and medical aspects of sports.  He also has a special interest in the treatment of concussions and is a Credentialed ImPACT™ Consultant.

Michael Greiwe, MD
Team Orthopedic

 

Dr. R. Michael Greiwe attended the University of Notre Dame, where he won the prestigious Knute Rockne Award for excellence in academics and athletics. He completed his orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Cincinnati Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.

 

In 2010, Dr. Greiwe completed a fellowship in shoulder, elbow and sports medicine at Columbia University where he trained with the head team physician for the New York Yankees, Dr. Christopher Ahmad.  Dr. Greiwe is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.

 He is the team physician for Covington Catholic High School and Notre Dame Academy.

​

Dr. Greiwe specializes in shoulder replacement, instability and labral tears; rotator cuff pathology; ACL injuries; Tommy John surgery; and advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques for sports-related injuries of the knee, shoulder and elbow.
